Head out to The Kilted Chef restaurant in Pictou where chef Alain Bosse will take you on a day-long culinary journey that involves selecting fresh seafood for dinner, chatting with farmers about their produce options and identifying what types of meat are required for the evenings meal. Afterwards chef Bosse will host a cooking class using all the ingredients selected throughout the day, which you’ll get to enjoy paired with the perfect glass of wine. Every Thursday between May and October Haligonians can hop on a bus and drive up to the Annapolis Valley, where they’ll get a chance to tour breweries, wineries, and cideries, with a stop at Luckett Vineyards for lunch!
