It was in 1994 when the girls from TLC first told us not to go chasing waterfalls. Though, such advice is prone to objection because several people can attest to the fact that there’s nothing more soothing than sitting by a waterfall and letting the water carry your troubles away.

Ontario is home to countless natural and manmade waterfalls that are all equally breathtaking and awe-inspiring; several of which can be found in the Hamilton region alone (there are over 100 waterfalls in Hamilton!)

If you’re looking to take a break from Toronto, consider visiting one of these magnificent waterfalls in Ontario (Note: Most of these are in Hamilton because most of Ontario’s popular waterfalls are found there):
