If you’ve ever missed the comfort a home cooked meal, there’s a new app made just for you. Josephine is being called the “Uber of home cooked meals,” and is a perfect option for students with little time who don’t want to eat out constantly.
The app acts as a service for local cooks and foodies, where they post meals a week in advance that are available for order. The meals are all family-style and offer items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The creators of Josephine hope that their app will bring the community together while also empowering local food lovers to create micro businesses.
Josephine doesn’t accept just anyone, however. Cooks must apply online and be approved by Josephine’s team. You can find out more info here.
