11 Of The Biggest Celeb Glo Downs Of 2017

What goes up must come down!
11 Of The Biggest Celeb Glo Downs Of 2017

2017 has been a massive year when it comes to the Hollywood and the celebrity scene. From feuds and drama to other embarrassing moments, celebrities can have rough years too (that even their PR people can't cover up)! So if you are curious who has glo-d down, whether it's their looks, their careers or just involving themselves in some negative press, keep reading!

Bella Thorne

Of course, Bella Thorne is on this list. From her.. interesting choice in clothing, make up and cleanliness to her random appearances in music videos from artists like Liam Payne to... Tana Mongeau, there is a lot to unpack here. I'm truly starting to think that she needs to get cut off from social media or something, maybe pull a Selena Gomez circa Revival? Maybe her new year's resolution for 2018 is to stop putting blood on her forehead and sharing photos of it on Instagram? Then again that may be too much to ask.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez has had a pretty big fall from grace and it's got nothing to do with her image or music. It has to do with her acting career and choice to work with Woody Allen.  The already successful celeb decided it was necessary to take a job with the very controversial Woody Allen. Rightly so, fans have been pissed and whenever it's been brought up in interviews, Gomez has offered some pretty pathetic responses. Anybody who claims to be supporting the #MeToo movement while simultaneously working for and profiting off of someone like Woody Allen most definitely deserves the title of "biggest glo down of the year."

Justin Bieber

Justin seems happier than ever which is great, but that chest tattoo... we have so many questions. While the star was subject to some backlash for cancelling his 2017 stadium tour as well as other drama circulating his fling with Sofia Richie, he seems to finally be in a good place now that he's back with Selena Gomez. But that... chest tattoo...

Lena Dunham

Lena Dunham almost definitely was the reason Twitter created the mute option but somehow she managed to go above and beyond this past year. The self-proclaimed "feminist" was caught in some serious controversy when she decided that an alleged rape victim's story was false because they had accused someone she was friends with. While I don't think anybody was wondering about her opinion in the first place (then again, I don't think anybody ever is), her inability to not know when to lay off on her opinion lands her on this list.

Liam Payne

Liam, I love you, don't get me wrong, but the shaving of the head... what is going on?! I can get on board with your recent shift to whatever Dance/EDM direction your music is heading towards but you need to hire someone to keep your image in check. The whole gold chain wearing, buzzcut thing just makes you look like a Justin Bieber during his pee-in-a-mop-bucket phase and we are concerned.

Natalie Dyer and Charlie Heaton

Now before anybody chops my head off or goes all Eleven on me, hear me out. I think Natalie Dyer and Charlie Heaton are an adorable couple and respectively attractive... but this red carpet appearance is rough. I mean, they're dressed in Coach so I'm not the least bit surprised that their outfits look like they're straight off a Forever 21 sale rack but still

Katy Perry

I'm only saying Katy Perry's career has had a lot of ups and downs this year for the sake of the slogan but let's be honest Katy Perry's career is tanking.. hard. If her postponing her massive tour because of "staging delays" aka nobody wanting to buy tickets, and her lack of charting singles from her recent album aren't enough proof.. when was the last time you even heard her being talked about in the media? Any celebrity that has to create their own version of Big Brother to create hype for their album is a celebrity who's career is basically over, RIP.

Jeffree Star

Let's be real Jeffree Star's career never really glo'd up considering his racist and problematic past (and present). Though he's been in an especially large amount of drama this past year considering both him and Lena Dunham have the same problem of constantly assuming people want to hear their opinions on everything.

Taylor Swift

The old Taylor Swift is dead and the new Taylor Swift is unfortunately not even close to an upgrade. While Reputation offers some seriously good songs, Taylor's image as a whole right now seems very... random. I've literally never seen Taylor look so confused in terms of her image and with that her album has gotten literally no hype post opening week. Add the ridiculous price tag she's put on tour tickets and I'd be surprised if like 10 people show up to her show at the Rogers Centre.

F(lop)ifth Harmony

It hurts my heart to say this considering Fifth Harmony has always had some potential, but they majorly flopped this past year. After Camila left the group a little over a year ago and the girls eventually releasing the name of their album being a self titled piece, it seemed as though they were coming for blood and were going to release their best album yet. Instead their singles barely touched the top 100 let alone hit the top 10, and with rough and uncoordinated live performances, they seem more divided than ever. Then again what do you expect from a band whose choice of a single includes a straight minute of "pumps in the butt" getting repeated over and over again.

Miley Cyrus

Hear me out, I couldn't be happier that Miley is finished licking foam fingers on stage and grinding on creepy old one-hit wonders (Robin Thicke, I'm looking at you.) Though if we are talking chart wise... her latest album fell harder than Katy Perry's Witness, which is a tough act to beat. While I'm definitely happy for her considering she seems content with re-finding her country roots, you can't deny her career has definitely glo-d down in 2017.
