Dating apps can be a real nightmare, anyone using them knows the struggle. While Tinder is notoriously known as the "hookup app" and getting creepy, objective messages from men is pretty common, Bumble is marketed as the opposite.
On Bumble women are forced to make the first move, which is meant to avoid those awful pickup lines that girls usually receive from guys on dating apps. But unfortunately, it just doesn't work that way.
There's no way to avoid encountering some super weird, creepy and downright gross human beings on dating apps. I have to warn you though, reading these message will 100% destroy all your faith in romance, so read at your own risk!

What They Did
The best part about these terrible Bumble exchanges is half how ridiculous the comment by the guy is and half the witty response by the women. There's probably tons of guys out there that think coming out with the fact that they're not looking for anything serious at the very beginning is the best way to go about it.. but that's not really the case.
What You Should Do
At least attempt to make some conversation first before telling the person you're only looking to hookup. Sure, no one likes their time wasted but the whole point of Bumble is to meet and chat with new people, and if you end up liking them then that's awesome! But if someone clearly just wants to hookup and only compliments your boobs, just cut them off.

What They Did
Well, I think this one's pretty obvious. Maybe don't ask the person to star in a porno in your first encounter? Or at all? I don't know.. just a thought!
What You Should Do
If someone can't go one back and forth without asking you to star in a porno, just don't continue that convo. Yea I don't know if you're going to get much else out of this kind of person.

What They Did
Some people clearly think they're so clever with this. They think if they pose it like a serious, witty question that you're going to think they're hilarious and apparently let them motorboat you in the first date. Well, I'm sorry to say that it just doesn't work like that.
What You Should Do
Online dating is hard and you just can't expect people to always be polite and courteous and to treat you respectively. But if you're a guy that's reading this, definitely don't ask a girl this question. Maybe go with "how's your week going?" or "what do you do?" instead.

What They Did
Clearly your choice of emoji can set someone off on Bumble. This girl literally just tried to start a conversation about how the guy was from Idaho and he immediately thought she was making fun of him just because she used the wink/tongue out emoji.. sensitive much?
What You Should Do
When someone is this sensitive literally over an emoji, it's probably a good idea to pick up and run. Don't wait to see if they're actually a decent person and they just misunderstood you, nope just run in the opposite direction!

What They Did
I think this is a pickup line that a lot of guys think is a super clever and hilarious way to bring up their d*ck. Is it really necessary to talk about your privates in a conversation with someone you've never met? Yeah, probably not.
What You Should Do
Unfortunately, this is the world of online dating that we live in. When you think about how these types of lines are so mainstream now that we're almost used to it is pretty sad. But you've just got to have a sense of humour about it. Use the gifs that girl used about or make some other jokes about how you can't find anything even if you looked. He deserves it.

What They Did
This guy thought it would be cool if he was extremely forward this girl. Apparently this is the only reason he's on Bumble, which is kind of weird but he seems pretty comfortable with it.
What You Should Do
The only thing you can do in this situation is put your phone down and pour yourself a glass of wine, or two, probably smart to make it three though. People are super weird on dating apps so when you get a message like this it's not a bad idea to take a break for a few days.

What They Did
This guy clearly doesn't know how to make small talk as much as this girl is trying. He's dodging her questions to get to what's clearly the most important to him.
What You Should Do
Probably just best to either tell this person they have issues and never respond to them again, or just block them completely. Nothing good can come of continuing this conversation.

What They Did
Some people think it's totally acceptable to send someone they don't even know a d*ck pic in the very first message. This guy clearly had no shame with it, but at least the girl had a very witty response prepared for him.
What You Should Do
Honestly, if I received this I probably would judge them a LOT and then not respond. But you can take a tip from the girl above and have a nice and sarcastic response ready for them.

What They Did
Sounds like this girl gets this response a lot on Bumble. But asking a girl how kinky she is in your opening message probably doesn't work most of the time. Just one gal's opinion.
What You Should Do
Just cut that convo off right away. There's no point in continuing to talk to this guy unless you're interested in hooking up, because that's all he's interested in.

What They Did
Bumble is a tricky place. Any girl who uses it knows how difficult it is to get a response from guys on this app. You spend time coming up with super clever pickup lines and 8/10 times they don't even answer, so eventually you resort to just saying hi and seeing what happens. But apparently some guys don't get this.
What You Should Do
This girl got it right. If someone is immediately judgy about your pickup line, there's no point in continuing the conversation. Just say goodbye and peace out!

What They Did
For a nice change of pace, this message was actually sent as a first message from the girl to the guy. Not sure what she wanted to accomplish with this message, but she was probably joking about the murder thing.. hopefully.
What You Should Do
If someone proposes murdering people to you on a dating app, it's probably best not to assume they're joking because honestly, who knows! This guy did it best, politely refuse their offer and just don't talk to them again.

What They Did
This convo was going pretty well at the beginning but as soon as he threw out the idea of just hooking up and skipping the date, she was not down and for good reason. Literally all he had to do was flirt a little and take them out on a date and it probably would've gone pretty well.
What You Should Do
Just don't settle. If you're looking to meet someone nice who will take you on a couple fun dates before you hookup with them then that's what you should settle for, not the guy that's isn't willing to put any effort in whatsoever. Be highly selective, that's what dating apps are for!
