BC Mansions Now Come With Public Poopers & Zero Privacy

Would you pay $3 million to go in front of your whole family?
2 Open Concept Bathrooms In Canada That Will Give You No Privacy Whatsoever
Senior Editor

If you’ve ever wanted to look inside a multi-million dollar mansion in Canada, maybe you’d end up seeing more than you bargained for! Two new B.C. mansions that are currently for sale are flexing a new style of “open concept” bathrooms, and they're pretty out-there. If you like your privacy in the bathroom- forget it- because these open-concept bathrooms in Canada are a little too close for comfort.

For the majority of people, bathroom-time is usually alone-time, and most of us prefer it that way.

However, two new BC mansions that have recently popped up for sale feature a more unique style of restroom, and they’ll give you very little privacy indeed!

Thankfully, both of the open-concept bathrooms in question have enclosed toilets, which means you can at least do your business in relative-privacy.

That said, many open-concept bathrooms don’t even have toilet privacy, and that’s why this U.S. open restroom ended up going viral.

According to the National Post, these bathroom-bedroom mashups, which don’t have proper walls or doors between both areas, gained popularity at the beginning of the decade.

In 2013, borderless ensuites were allegedly the “in” thing to do in hotel rooms, signifying a “high-end” experience.

However, when homes with borderless bathrooms end up on the internet, they’re often not very popular!

If you're a Canadian and you love the sound of breaking down bathroom barriers, you're in luck.

These two B.C. mansions are both playing around with the concept of open bathroom/bedroom, and you can give up your privacy for a measly $3 million!

The first property, which is located on 4060 Lockehaven Drive in Saanich East, has a listing price of $3,000 000 exactly, and it's pretty incredible (if you can look past the open-showering.)

It's a truly beautiful property. Just don't shower if you're expecting any guests.

The second property is pretty similar, but you can sacrifice your privacy for half of the price.

Located on 11250 Cemetery Road in Lake Country, this property could be yours for $1,399,000.

It's got four bedrooms and three bathrooms, but one of those bathrooms is experimenting with the open-concept layout, and it won't be for everyone ...

While it's hard to fully see the open-concept style in the listing's photos, there's literally no wall between this bathroom and the master bedroom, meeting your private toilet-time is definitely somewhat compromised.

If you like to take a shower in peace, you can forget about it, because there's no way to lock yourself away in this bathroom!

Whether you're a big fan of the open-concept design, or whether it really is the bathroom of your nightmares, unless you've got a cool $2 million in your wallet, these two are not an option anyway!
