3 Cars & New Corvette In Canadian Driveway Set On Fire Resulting In Huge Explosion (VIDEO)

A scary incident took place in a small town in Canada this long weekend which left residents frightened. Four cars exploded on a driveway in Chilliwack, B.C. after two suspects set them on fire. Video footage of the incident has surfaced on the Internet and it's pretty intense. Those were definitely not the fireworks that residents were expecting for the Canada Day long weekend. 

Yesterday on the morning of Canada Day, Chilliwack residents were shocked to learn that four cars parked in a driveway were set on fire, leading to an explosion right in their neighbourhood, CTV News reports.  

The whole incident was caught on camera, due to a nearby surveillance camera at a neighbour's house. It was then shared with the Internet on social media. YouTube user Rob i posted a video of the encounter on Youtube and Reddit. According to him, a Corvette was one of the four vehicles that was set on fire. 

"2 Guys torched a new Corvette in my neighbors driveway," reads the video description on YouTube. "They run [an] Air BnB.. Nobody was hurt and everyone got out ok..I pulled the video from my other neighbors system".

In the video, you can see two suspects running away from the driveway as the parked cars explode. The blaze continues to grow.

Later on, people have come onto the street as the fire continues burning on. The person who filmed the video can be heard saying, "I think there's people in the house. There's people trying to get out of there". Police and firefighters are also seen attending to the scene in the video as they worked to put out the fire. 

Several people commented on the YouTube video in response to the video.

The owners are shook up from the incident and said that an Airbnb guest was staying in the basement of their house at the time of the fire, CTV News reports. 

Chilliwack RCMP told CTV News that it is believed the arson was targeted towards one of the car owners. However, they would not provide additional information related to the case.
