It may be September, but that doesn’t mean summer is over! It's still officially summer until September 23, and if the weather forecast has anything to say about it—it's supposed to feel like get super hot in some areas of the country this week—we'll be soaking up the sun until the very last minute. 

Which is actually a pretty great thing! It's common knowledge that summer in Canada is magic. From fun vibes and pretty terrasses to beautiful weather and epic festivals, we do summer right every single year!

And, of course, this year was no different. Although summer 2019 might be inching to a close on the outside... Well, we can always keep summer alive in our hearts. And in our drinks.

BACARDÍ has concocted five fresh summer cocktails curated specifically to keep the vibes alive no matter what season you're in. And although sipping on these tasty and simple-to-make creations at home won't replace swaying to the music at BACARDÍ Bay at Montreal's Osheaga or Ilesoniq, BC's FVDED In The Park or Cavendish Beach Music Festival in PEI, it just proves that no matter where you are, you can make summer's vibes last forever with the right tools!

What you need:

- 1 part BACARDÍ Coconut Rum- 4 parts pineapple juice- Lemon wedge for garnish

Mix ingredients over ice and voila! Yep, this one is that easy and, not to mention, super tasty. It pretty much epitomizes summer island vibes, and hey, we’re all for that no matter the time of year. Just don’t forget to bust out the leis.

What you need:

- 1 part BACARDÍ Oakheart Spiced Rum- 4 parts ginger ale- Lemon or lime wedge for garnish

Give it a quick stir and a shake before pouring it over ice—this drink is perfect for those who prefer their cocktails with a kick. It’s slightly spicy with a sweet hint of caramel and vanilla. In other words: all things delicious!

BACARDÍ Summer Sounds Cocktail

What you need:- 1 part BACARDÍ Superior Rum- 3 parts pink lemonade- 3 parts soda water- 6-8 mint leaves for garnish- 1-2 raspberries for garnish

Stir and serve over ice, and top with one or two raspberries for an extra bit of summertime flair. Seriously, guys, this cocktail is totally Insta-worthy. In fact, it's so pretty you may be tempted to just sit there and stare. No, but seriously, take a sip (and make another!).

What you need:- 1 part BACARDÍ Limon Rum- 4 parts lemonade- Lemon wedge for garnish

Make this A-rated lemonade simply by shaking it up and pouring it over ice. And by “shake” we mean crank up your favourite tunes and bust out your best moves ‘cause this summer cocktail recipe is one part thirst-quencher and two parts party-pleaser.


What you need:

- 1 part BACARDÍ Limon Rum- 1 part orange juice- 1 part cranberry juice- 1 part ginger ale- 1 part coconut water- Lemon wedge for garnish

Mix the ingredients over ice, sit back, and enjoy a sweet sunset with this flavourful cocktail. If this beachin’ drink doesn’t help you seas the summer (and other cheesy yet seasonally appropriate puns), we don’t know what will.
