Over the years, Netflix has brought us an onslaught of some seriously great (and some seriously bad) original content. With new trailers being put out on a weekly - sometimes daily - basis, it's hard to keep up with what shows are worth watching! Here are six cancelled Netflix Originals that deserved another season.

Honestly, there's nothing worse than when you find a new favourite show and it suddenly gets cancelled. Some are cancelled because their viewership isn't high enough or because Netflix ends external partnerships, and others simply because Netflix feels the shows have reached their natural ending.

Hemlock Grove

Rating: 7.2/10 on IMDb

Why it shouldn't have been cancelled: After a three-season run, Hemlock Grove came to an end back in 2015. Unlike some of the other cancellations on this list, the creators of the show knew the third season would be the last, so they were able to give audiences the ending they deserved. We wouldn't be mad about another season or two, though.

Rating: 8/10 on IMDb

Why it shouldn't have been cancelled: Of the endless selection of Netflix Originals out there, Bloodline is one of my personal favourites. The show ended after three seasons in 2017, but the reason it was so well received is that almost every episode came with a new and captivating twist.

Rating: 6.6/10 on IMDb

Why it shouldn't have been cancelled: Chambers was released earlier in 2019, and before the show even came out, it had a ton of hype surrounding it. Although it ended up receiving mixed reviews, Netflix users were pissed that the streaming service would cancel its first series with a female Indigenous lead.

Rating: 8.4/10 on IMDb

Why it shouldn't have been cancelled: After the tragic news of Sense8's cancellation, Netflix users took it upon themselves to plead for the show's redemption, and although they didn't get another season, they did get a two-hour episode to wrap things up nicely.

Luke Cage

Rating: 7.4/10 on IMDb

Why it shouldn't have been cancelled: Of all the Marvel Netflix Originals that debuted over the past few years, Luke Cage was definitely one of the better ones. Still, the show was cancelled after just two seasons, along with all of the other Netflix/Marvel collaborations.

Everything Sucks!

Rating: 7.5/10 on IMDb

Why it shouldn't have been cancelled: Everything Sucks! is one of those shows that anyone who's been through the awkward stages of adolescence can relate to. The series ended back in 2018 after just one season, so fans weren't given the ending they were looking for.
