When it comes to action-pack movies with a comedy twist, there's no better actor than Canada's own Ryan Reynolds. From Deadpool to Green Lantern, the actor definitely knows how to kick butt while keeping his audience laughing. Reynolds' latest project, 6 Underground on Netflix Canada, has his fans falling in love with him all over again.

A few months back, Netflix announced that it was working on some original movies with seriously big budgets as its main contenders for award season. These films included The IrishmanMarriage Story, and the most recently released 6 Underground.

The Michael Bay-directed film hit Netflix today and is about a group of secret agents who gave up their normal lives when they faked their deaths so that they can come together and fight crime while remaining totally off the radar.

As if Reynolds' quick wit and charm wasn't already enough, the film also stars Dave Franco (Neighbors), Melanie Laurent (IngloriousBasterds), Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton), and Adria Arjona (Triple Frontier), just to name a few.

In typical Bay style, the film was edited with tons of jump cuts and explosive action scenes, and while films like 6 Underground may not be for everyone, those that enjoy a car chase with obnoxious amounts of destruction will certainly love it.

The movie has only been on Netflix for a few hours now, but people are already sharing their thoughts on Twitter.

"PSA: New movie with Ryan Reynolds '6 underground' out now on Netflix it’s a must watch," one person tweeted.

"6 underground. God d*mn. One of Netflix's best production everr! Ending the year with a bang. Top notch from @VancityReynolds," commented another.

Oddly enough, despite the film's awesome reviews, it's only received a critics score of 43% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is a pretty big flop on the website.

Regardless of what the critics say though, the movie is worth watching just so you can see Reynolds in action. You can check out the trailer for 6 Underground below.
