"6 Underground" On Netflix Canada Stars Ryan Reynolds

If you're a big movie person, you probably already know that there are some actors out there who are guaranteed to make a film 10x better. While we wouldn't but Ryan Reynolds in a super emotional drama, he is a very talented comedy and action actor, and when he stars in those films, he usually has audiences absolutely dying. 6 Underground on Netflix Canada stars Ryan Reynolds basically as himself.

We all know that Reynolds' life is pretty busy as the founder of Aviation Gin , husband of Blake Lively, and father of three adorable little girls. But somehow, Reynolds still makes time to have a successful acting career and poke fun at his celebrity best friends .

Reynolds' latest project is a massive, very expensive collaboration with Netflix and director Michael Bay called 6 Underground . The movie is about six agents from all over the world, all of whom have faked their deaths so that they can fight injustice while remaining totally off the radar.

Reynolds plays the leader of the crime-fighting crew, but the cast also includes Dave Franco (21 Jump Street ), Adria Arjona ( Triple Frontier ), Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton ), and Mélanie Laurent (Inglorious Basterds ), just to name a few.

Earlier today, Netflix released a new clip for the film to their YouTube page, and in it, you can barely distinguish Reynolds' character from his real self. The leader cracks plenty of jokes and witty one-liners ("nice call on the day-glow green, blends right into the Italian architecture").

At one point in the clip, Reynolds also apologizes to his team for yelling during a tense moment, which is totally Canadian of him.

The film has been in the works for quite some time now, and knowing that it was directed by Michael Bay, viewers can expect to see plenty of larger than life explosions on-screen.

6 Underground will be available on Netflix as of December 13. You can check out the film's official trailer below.
