When you need a good laugh or maybe just want to reminisce on the good ol' days, these classic movies on Netflix are definitely worth a second watch... or a third, or maybe even a fourth! We're not judging — a classic is a classic for a reason, of course. Here are seven classic movies you totally forgot were still on Netflix Canada.

Step Brothers

Rating: 6.9/10 on IMDb

Why you need to watch it: If you love (or maybe love to hate) Will Ferrell, Step Brothers will literally have you laughing out loud. The movie centres around two grown-up adults still living with their single parents. Their world is suddenly turned upside down when their parents get married, forcing them all to move in together.

Big Daddy

Rating: 6.4/10 on IMDb

Why you need to watch it: An Adam Sandler classic, Big Daddy may be 20 years old but it still keeps us laughing. Sonny, played by Sandler, adopts a child and tries to figure out how exactly to be a dad. Known as their first feature film role, Big Daddy also stars a very young Dylan and Cole Sprouse.

The Hangover

Rating: 7.7/10 on IMDb

Why you need to watch it: Who could ever forget The Hangover? Starring Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis, this movie had us all on our toes wondering what exactly happened during that wild night in Vegas. With a tiger in the bathroom and a baby in the closet, it's safe to say things got a little crazy!

The-40-Year-Old Virgin

Rating: 7.1/10 on IMDb

Why you need to watch it: Released back in 2005, The 40-Year-Old Virgin follows the life of Andy, a middle-aged man who has never lost his virginity. On a quest to finally lose it with the help of his buddies, the movie stars Steve Carell, Paul Rudd, Catherine Keener, Seth Rogen, and even has an appearance from Mindy Kaling!

Superbad

Rating: 7.6/10 on IMDb

Why you need to watch it: If you haven't watched it about a million times already, Superbad is most definitely still streaming on Netflix Canada. Known as Jonah Hill's breakthrough role, this classic comedy still brings some serious laughs even 12 years later. I mean, who could forget McLovin?

Pineapple Express

Rating: 7/10 on IMDb

Why you need to watch it: Starring the hilarious Seth Rogen and James Franco, Pineapple Express incorporates all the action and all the laughs. When stoner Dale is in the wrong place at the wrong time, he witnesses a murder by mistake and ends up on the run with his drug-dealing buddy, Saul.

Saving Silverman

Rating: 5.9/10

Why you need to watch it: Saving Silverman is an old-school comedy classic on Netflix Canada starring a very young Jason Biggs, Jack Black, and Steve Zahn. Take a wild ride with best friends J.D. and Wayne as they attempt to stop their friend from marrying Judith, a woman totally wrong for him. These guys are willing to do whatever it takes — even if that includes kidnapping!
