Canada has a serious roster of celeb property owners. While their unlimited bank accounts could literally take them anywhere, many of them just can’t forget about their home and native land.

There are lots of Canuck celebrities who own mega mansions all over Canada. Yes there’s Drake, yes there’s Bieber, but there are also a few other A-listers who tend to fly under the radar. And honestly, that’s probably what they’re going for.

Stars who aren’t even Canadian can’t seem to help but get a taste of what our country has to offer. Hamptons who? Canada is where it’s at. Check out this list of stars you may not have realized have homes in the Great White North.

This Canadian actress knew the perfect spot for a home, stunning Vancouver Island where she grew up. While she also owns homes in both Manhattan and The Hamptons, this is where she goes when she wants privacy. She loves getting away to the Pacific Coast to go hiking and enjoy nature.

Kate Hudson, Muskoka, Ontario

Clearly inspired by mom, Goldie Hawn, and stepdad, Kurt Russell’s cottage which they sold in 2014, Hudson decided to get a property in Muskoka.

While Canada might seem to be the place to get away from the paparazzi, she had a run-in with them on her dock in 2007 when paps published pics of her and then-boyfriend, Dax Shepard getting cozy. Lake Joseph where is property is, is full of gorgeous homes like the one pictured above.

Tom Hanks, Muskoka, Ontario

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell’s Canadian cottage also inspired this Oscar-winning actor to look for a vacation spot in Muskoka on Lake Rosseau. Hanks has been known to spend time up here when shooting films in the Great White North. Pictured above is a sneak peek of what kind of mega-mansions reside on this lake.

Kiefer Sutherland, Gerogeville, Quebec

This A-list actor often visits his Canadian turf to vacation with his family in Quebec. The home is actually owned by his father Donald, but Kiefer goes too. While finding a photo of his actual home was difficult, the above shows a photo of one of Georgeville’s most famous mansions.

The comedian who was born in Hamilton, Ontario hasn’t let Hollywood take him away from his home and native land. He owns a place on the gorgeous spot on the same lake as Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson in Muskoka.

Kaia and Presley Gerber, The Muskokas, Ontario

American supermodel Cindy Crawford, mom of Kaia and Presely Gerber, LOVES Canada and we totally adore her for it. The Muskokas are known as the Malibu of the North and it’s no wonder why. Crawford and her family spend tons of time on Lake Joseph during summer months and there is never any shortage of Instagram pics.

I personally can't think of a better spot for Cindy's supermodel daughter, Kaia Gerber, to snap bikini shots.

Jason Priestley, Ucluelet, British Comulbia

This Vancouver-born actor best known for his roles on the television series Beverly Hills, 90210 and Private Eyes co-owns an entire resort in B.C. He, his father and stepmother run Terrace Beach Resort in Ucluelet which is full of quaint waterfront cottages. Priestley visits here when he’s at home in Canada.

Ethan Hawke, Guysborough, Nova Soctia

This four-time Oscar-nominated American actor praises Atlantic Canada quite often in the media. He visits his property in Nova Scotia during the summer months to see friends in the area he's met over the years.

He even attributes his connection to the province for his decision to be in the movie, "Maudie". The film is about the real-life relationship between Nova Scotia artist, Maud Lewis and fish peddler, Everett Lewis.
