9 Hidden BC Waterfalls Totally Worth A Summer Road Trip

Not every paradise is tropical. Sure, lounging on a white sandy beach next to a leafy palm tree is incredible, but so is discovering a towering waterfall in your own back yard. It doesn't matter how many falls you see; each one is breathtaking. Forget TLC's advice, here are waterfalls in B.C. that you need to road trip to this summer.
Summertime is made for spending time outdoors. It is time to stretch your legs and explore some of the many natural attractions, only a quick drive away.
One of our favourite spots is at Sandcut Beach. It feels like you are getting three attractions for the price of one short hike.
There is a long stretch of beach, a waterfall you can walk right next to, and there is an Instagrammable swing next to the falls.
Just picture it, tomorrow you could be flying in the right next to cascading water.
Or you could always feel like a mermaid for the afternoon. There are few spots on our list, which are also swimming holes.

Bosumarne Falls

Why You Need To Go: It doesn't take long to reach this impressive waterfall in Fraser Valley. It takes roughly the same time it takes you to watch an episode on Netflix. So what will it be rewatching that episode one again, or enjoying an up-close view of Bousumarne Falls?
Bridal Veil Falls

Why You Need To Go: Even if you hate hiking, you can reach Bridal Veil Falls. It is under a kilometre round trip, and well worth every step to see the veil-like falls.
Tsusiat Falls
Address: Alberni-Clayoquot A, BC
Why You Need To Go: A must stop on the West Coast Trail; this spot has it all. It is steps from the beach, plus you can swim and camp here too. What more could you want in the summer?
Myra Falls

Why You Need To Go: Myra Falls is a fantastic choice in the summer as you can visit the upper and lower falls. Make sure to bring a bathing suit as it is a swimming hole too.
Brandywine Falls

Why You Need To Go: If you are driving down the Sea-To-Sky Highway and need to take a pit stop to stretch your legs, Brandywine Falls would be a great choice. In roughly 15 minutes, you'll reach a towering waterfall.
Gold Creek Falls

Why You Need To Go: Get ready to fall in love with this spot with a turquoise pool and a waterfall next to it. It looks straight out of the Caribbean, but it is only a short drive away.
Rainbow Falls

Why You Need To Go: Within Golden Ears Provincial Park, you can reach a picturesque fall with an emerald pool of water. If you want to want to make the trip a weekend getaway, there are also campsites nearby.
Sandcut Beach Waterfall

Why You Need To Go: This spot is TikTok and Instagram gold. You can spend your day swinging next to a waterfall and lounging on the beach.
Kennedy Falls

Why You Need To Go: If you are an experienced hiker, you could be up for the challenge of getting to Kennedy Falls. It is a long 10-kilometre hike that will take you past stunning old-growth cedars and to a waterfall.
