Release your lanterns into the starry night sky at the Night Lights events in San Antonio this March. The floating lanterns festival will be happening right outside of San Antonio on Saturday, March 23rd. Join the magical celebration and experience a night like no other as you are surrounded by an incredible display of glowing lights, starry skies, and bright, smiling faces.
Night Lights is a brand new floating lantern experience inspired by the famous Thai Lantern Festival. Guests are each given a beautiful, jumbo lantern that can be decorated and put together by each person before the official lantern send-off at 8:30 PM. Be among your friends, family and loved ones as you release your glowing lantern into the atmosphere at this truly incredible event.
A popular tradition at the festival is to write down your wishes, dreams, motivations, or accomplishments on your lantern before you set it off into the night sky. This is said to set your dreams in motion and it brings good luck! You can also decorate your lantern with other wishful thoughts or lists of what you're thankful for, it's all up to you!
The Night Lights floating lantern festival is the perfect spot for a romantic night out, a charming first date, a magical night for the kids or even the coolest place for some creative photography. Bring some snacks and a blanket or chairs and enjoy the view of everyone's hopes and dreams setting off into the night sky.
You don't have to be worried about any waste afterward, because Night Lights provides a lantern clean-up crew that makes sure no lantern or litter is left behind once the wishful event is over. And all lanterns are eco-friendly and biodegradable to make the event healthy for the environment and totally guilt free.
Tickets are available for purchase now on their website. An adult pass is listed at $65 per person, which includes entry to the event and one sky lantern. A child's pass (11 and under) includes entry and kid zone access. Parking is currently listed at $15 cash only!
