Since season one of The Voice, fans have loved the bromance between Adam Levine and Blake Shelton... if you can call it that. Fans didn't tune into the show just to hear amazing voices, but they connected with the judges as well. While other judges come and go, Blake and Adam have been there since day one. Unfortunately, this is changing. Adam Levine is officially leaving The Voice.
If your heart is broken hearing this news, you're not alone. He's been on 16 seasons, and he's won three of those. On the Today show, Carson Daly, who is the host of The Voice, made the announcement that no one saw coming.

Adam Levine has been a fan favourite of the show, with a ton of contestants choosing him as their coach. However, that's changing next season. Carson broke the news by saying, "After 16 seasons, Adam Levine, our beloved coach and friend, has decided to leave The Voice. Adam was one of the original coaches that launched the show, winning the competition three times and inspiring many of the artists he worked closely with over the years".
You're probably wondering who is taking his place. In the same announcement, Carson revealed that three-time coach and Blake Shelton's girlfriend Gwen Stefani would be stepping in for Adam.
Saying we'll miss Adam as a coach is an understatement. The bickering between Adam and Blake was a huge part of the show, but we'll get to see a glimpse of Blake and Gwen's relationship again.
Carson ended the announcement by saying, "Next season should be a lot of fun". The popular show will be back for season 17 in the fall.
