The Duke and Duchess have not 1, not 2, but 4 homes.
An Inside Look At Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's Extravagant Luxury Homes

The Duchess of Sussex a.k.a. Meghan Markle and her royal husband Prince Harry - have been keeping busy since their fairytale wedding in May. Most recently, Meghan has been working with the Grenfell Tower fire victims in London to launch a charity cookbook.

Any couple as busy as these two needs a nice place to relax at the end of the day or on the weekends. Meghan and Harry are lucky enough to have four different luxury getaways they can go to so they can unwind and escape from the stress of their lives.

Each home is located in the UK but they are all slightly different with their own unique charm and style. While Harry and Meghan haven't officially moved into all four of these places, they are all home to the Duke and Duchess in one way or another. Here are all the details.

1. Nottingham Cottage

It's been almost a year since Meghan Markle packed up her life in Toronto and moved into Nottingham Cottage, lovingly referred to as Nott Cott. Harry was living there for a bit before his then fiance moved in with him. It is also the place where Harry proposed to Meghan during a relaxing night in. The couple continued to live here throughout their wedding planning and still inhabit the quaint home today.

By royal standards, the 1300 square foot home is super small with only two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small living room, and a kitchen and dining area. It was said that Meghan put her own spin on the design of Nott Cott when she moved in, leading people to believe it is decorated with cozy blankets, neutral tones, and lots of flowers and art, based on the look of Meghan's Toronto townhouse.

The cottage is located at the Kensington Palace ground, also home to other royals like William and Kate, who have a four-storey, 20-room apartment there, and previously lived in Nottingham Cottage when they were first married.

2. The Great Tew Estate

Like many of the great royals, Meghan and Harry have opted to enjoy their summers away in the countryside. That's where the Great Tew Estate comes in. The estate is a luxury property in Cotswold, where the royal couple is leasing a home, called Westfield Large for two years.

The property offers a peaceful escape and according to the official website of the estate, they have roaming sheep, oak forests, rolling hills, and bluebell flowers, making it the perfect relaxing and romantic weekend home for Meghan and Harry.

The huge property is also home to British pop-culture royalty David and Victoria Beckham and the Soho Farmhouse, where Meghan had her bridal shower.

3. Adelaide Cottage

Rumour has it Meghan and Harry are soon leaving Nott Cott behind in favour of something a little bit bigger for their future family (the couple has said they want kids). The Royals may soon move into Adelaide Cottage, located on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The property is very private and secure, with seven gates to protect the houses. On the inside of the home, there is elaborate decor, with a gilded-dolphin covered ceiling and a 19th-century fireplace.

Windsor Castle grounds have a special place in the hearts of the couple since it's where they officially tied the knot in back in May. Like Kensington Palace, Windsor is home to some other royal family members, such as the Queen who has a second residence there.

4. York Cottage

When their lease is up at the Great Tew Estate, Meghan and Harry are going to want somewhere else to vacation. That's why it's believed that the couple will soon receive York Cottage as a wedding gift from the Queen.

The cottage is located on Sandringham Estate, the Royal Family's property in Norfolk. It's not clear yet how the cottage would be re-decorated for the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but York has previously been done with lots of florals, including in the furniture and wallpaper, and many portraits hung throughout the cottage.

The cottage gift is common for the Queen, who gave Will and Kate Anmer Hall, a cottage also on Sandringham when they were married. The entire royal family, including Meghan, celebrated Christmas at the estate this past year.

So while you're struggling to find even a small affordable one bedroom apartment in the city, you can live vicariously through the Royals and dream of living in one of their four super extravagant homes.
