What if we were to tell you that you can get a taste of the south in the Grand Canyon State? Next month, you'll be able to indulge in everything crawfish at Arizona's Cajun festival. It'll be a foodie paradise.
The Southwest fest will be held on February 15 at Dr. AJ Chandler Park from noon to 9 p.m. At the event, you'll be able to enjoy New Orleans styled food with an Arizona twist.
An online general admission ticket will cost $8 per person or $12 at the gate. Once inside, you'll be able to enjoy a variety of dishes like crawfish, shrimp, gumbo, fried catfish, and more.
It's the perfect place to enjoy the cool weather with friends while snacking on fares of the south.
If you'd prefer to splurge, you can opt for the $45 ticket. It'll get you admission into the event, four boozy drinks, a shaded seating area, unlimited water and soft drinks, and private restrooms.
There will be live music featuring jazz, blues, and contemporary swing bands for you to jam out to. Since the event is held at a park, we recommend bringing along a blanket, hat, and your furry friend.
With over 12 various vendors dishing out yummy fares, you and your friends can share dishes and split the cost.
After you've had your fill of seafood, you can munch on some sweet treats too. Last year, they had chocolate covered bananas. Yum.
In the next town over, there will be a massive Sweets Festival happening. So, why not enjoy some sweet treats in the morning and indulge in seafood in the evening?
Either way, both fests will have good food.
