Over 300 Homes Are Being Built On The Beltline & They're Actually Affordable

You'd honestly never need to go anywhere else.
Apartments On The BeltLine Will Be Coming Soon & They're Affordable

It seems like everyday we drive past new developments in Atlanta. With our exciting culture and booming job opportunities, the city continues to bring in new peeps. One of the biggest attractions in the city is the BeltLine and in just a year or two, you'll literally be able to live in your very favorite place at the new townhomes and apartments on the BeltLine.

The BeltLine is a massive area filled with markets, parks, trails, trendy dining, shopping, and all the drinking. This hot spot is constantly growing in both size and popularity; there's no such thing as a bad time here.

It's totally a great thing for both ATL's economy and culture, and it's growing at such a quick rate that it's basically its own mini-city. To add even more to that idea, there are now plans to build a townhome community right on the BeltLine.

This isn't some "little" project in the making, either. In fact, it's massive. The development by Pollack Shores Real Estate Group (which will soon be known as RangeWater Real Estate) will consist of 110 townhomes and over 300 apartments.

The new living quarters will be located at 72 Milton Avenue on the Southside trail of the BeltLine, granting access to a shaded pavilion and greenspace overlooking D.H. Stanton Park.

You can rent a 16 to 20-foot-wide two- or three-bedroom townhome (which includes a garage) for $2,200 and $2,900 a month, respectively. Considering this seems to be what a lot of renters pay in Atlanta, why not spend the same amount, but in a much cooler place with access to all your favorite spots?

However, if that's above your budget, 15% of the apartments (66% are one bed-room) are designated as affordable. According to Atlanta area Workforce Housing Income standards, that means about 50 units will have rent ranging from $1,110 and $1,200.

“We’re continuing to invest in the Southside Trail because we see this emerging submarket as an attainable alternative for people who desire BeltLine living but are priced out of the Eastside Trail and Memorial Drive corridors,” says Steven Shores, CEO and President at Pollack Shores.

If you're looking to move out of the parents' or just want to sign a lease somewhere new, definitely keep this on your radar. The development will break ground in 2020 and Narcity will provide updates about a completion date when possible.

More upcoming projects in ATL include a brand new IHOP subsidiary with a BYO-pancake bar and this boozy neon mini-golf bar
