Step Into The World Of Willy Wonka At This Georgia Candy Exhibit

As a child, you probably watched Willy Wonka and imagined the sheer joy of finding the golden ticket. We all wanted to be those kids, but there wasn't anything close to experiencing that same on-screen joy in real life.

Candytopia has come to Atlanta to whisk you back to the days where you wanted to be Charlie Bucket with an art exhibit that's only here for a limited time. Atlanta and Dallas are currently the only two cities where Candytopia is open, and it won't be around much longer.

From now until July 28, you have the chance to be a part of this non-traditional candy wonderland. While observing art can be a worthwhile experience, this limited edition exhibit lets you be a part of it.

For only $28, you can admire the enormously intricate structures made of candy pieces while also participating in the interactive exhibits. Each of the 12 rooms contains something completely different, so you'll be surprised by the sheer creativity of each one. Pop culture runs rampant here, so where else are you going to find a candy portrait of Cardi B?

Dive in the giant pool of marshmallows, take a spin on the rotating Trolli platform, or get rained on by clouds of confetti - the choice is yours.

Each ticket includes nine samples of candy, so your all cravings will be satisfied during your walkthrough. There's a larger selection of candy available at the gift shop if your sweet tooth hasn't subsided.

Candytopia is meant for taking an unhealthy amount of photos and boomerangs, so come with your phone charged and your most picture-ready outfit. Staff members at every station are there to take your picture, so nobody in your crew has to miss out on the photo op.

Buckhead just got a lot sweeter with this adorable addition to Lenox Marketplace. You can buy tickets online, here. Candytopia is open Sunday at 11 a.m., 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and closes at 8:30 p.m. each night.
