Georgia Aquarium's Newest Baby Beluga Will Be Cuter Than Baby Yoda

They will be welcomed to the world in April!
Baby Beluga At Georgia Aquarium Is Totally Going To Cancel Baby Yoda

It's not surprising that the largest aquarium in the world keeps growing with exciting new sea creatures. Pretty much every newborn animal is adorable, but this baby Beluga at Georgia Aquarium is expected to take the cake. Baby Yoda is no match for this little munchkin that will be the aquarium's newest addition in April.

Georgia Aquarium is currently home to five Belugas, including 20-year-old Whisper. She was brought to Georgia Aquarium from Sea World in Orlando about a year ago and now lives happily here in The Peach State.

The attentive vet team regulary monitors the health and well-being of all the animals and they noticed Whisper's elevated hormone levels during a recent check-up. And what do you know? She's a momma-to-be!

You may be wondering if it's a boy or a girl, but we will have to wait for the baby's day of birth to discover the gender. Regardless, as soon as this this tiny creatue pops out, the aquarium can expect lots of visitors to watch Whisper's mini-me swim and play.

Even with over one million-cubic-feet of water, 500 species, 60 habitats, 12,000-square-feet of viewing windows and upwards of 100,000 animals, this brand new Beluga Whale is going to be the star of the show.

Sadly, three Belugas have lost their lives here since 2012, according to an Associated Press article.

We are crossing our fingers tightly that Whisper is able to safely give birth to her little angel and that they both live long and healthy lives.

Speaking of new additions at the Georgia Aquarium, there is a massive 45,000-square-foot, $100-million shark exhibit opening next fall and it's going to be absolutely insane.

Also, don't forget that the aquarium knows how to party. From themed holiday parties to glowing after-hours soirées, there is always something boozy going on to make your undersea experience a little more "buzz" worthy.
