Asian food is definitely a fan favorite in the U.S. but a lot of these places are Americanized. You may have sampled from the best pho restaurants in Atlanta, but coming by genuine Vietnamese food can be challenging. This brand new Pho spot brings the best of the best when it comes to real Sai Gon fare.
Vietvana is an all-new authentic Vietnamese spot serving up some of the best Asian delicacies in town. The original location opened in Avondale Estates in August 2019 and the second hub just had its ribbon cut on this week (February 17).
The new eatery is on Spring Street near Georgia Tech, providing city slickers the opportunity to warm their souls with Sai Gon-inspired bites.
You can build your own pho for less than $10, choosing from three types of broth and 14 meats including tripe, filet mignon, fatty brisket, shrimp, tofu and more.
To spruce things up a bit, you can opt for the specialty selections like soft-shell crab, ox tail or stir-fried steak.
The central focus is definitely pho, but the menu is massive, offering much more than just soup. They have 14 types of flavor-packed Bahn Mi including lemongrass beef, ham and paté, Vietnamese meatball and spicy-fried shrimp.
You can also scope out the salads, appetizers, vermicelli buns, rice com, fried rice come chien, broken rice tam and tons of other specials. All in all, you'll find over 100 bonafide Vietnamese goodies, both savory and sweet.
Speaking of sweets, you can get the real deal when it comes to desserts here. There's flan, coconut ice cream, 10 types of smoothies and of course, milk tea.
After a long day, you may want to throw in some hard-to-find booze like soju, sake, cocktails with Sai Gon rum and imported beer from Thailand, China and Japan.
