UrbanTree Cidery, located in West Midtown near Atlantic Station, is the place for sugar fanatics and booze drinkers alike. Breweries and taprooms are popping up like crazy around the city, but there aren't many places that specialize in cider.
UrbanTree brews all of their ciders in-house, offering fresh and unique selections including Habanero Haze, Vintage Gala with notes of apple and toasted vanilla. They even make a rosé cider. You can get flights, pours by the glass or go home with some growlers.
On February 8 and 9, UrbanTree is adding even more deliciously diverse options with the Doughnut Dollies Flight Event. You can bet your bottom dollar that the fried dough here isn't your average Krispy Kreme.
You'll be sipping flights while munching on unusual melt-in-your-mouth varieties including blueberry hibiscus, almond rose, peach cobbler, and rum caramel apple.
The sweet treats will complement the Soga Blue, rosé, peach "gobbler" and rum barrel-aged ciders. The flight pairing is only $18 and gets you four donuts and a flight with four drinks.
This is definitely a special occurrence because food is typically not served in the tasting room here.
The cool part is that you can actually bring your own food or have it delivered, but donuts and brews are all you'll need at this flights frenzy.
