Marvel has seen a major glow up during the past decade, dispensing superhero movies like candy. The major production company is now throwing shows into the mix and we're more than ready to continue getting lost in the superhero fantasy land with the upcoming streaming series, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which just kicked off production in Atlanta. The news was announced in the funniest way possible when Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan took over Marvel's Instagram page.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is an all-new Marvel production with all-new characters that will stream on the brand new Disney + platform (launching Nov. 12) in 2020. Needless to say, the film will showcase the adventures of Marvel Cinematic Universe characters, Falcon and Winter Soldier (plot details yet to be released).

The TV series began filming in Atlanta yesterday, according to a light-hearted quarrel between the two lead actors, who seemed to have a bit of mix-up about who was assigned to take over Marvel Studios Instagram stories.

Anthony Mackie, who will star as Falcon, and Sebastian Stan, who will play Winter Soldier, raided Marvel Studios' social media and well, you just have to see it for yourself.

Anthony Mackie starts off by announcing his takeover. "Marvel has asked me to take over this account so I’m shutting it down, showing everybody how we doing it," he says. "It’s Falcon all day." Sebastian Stan chimes in for the next clip, declaring that Marvel has actually asked HIM to take over.

Mackie doesn't seem too thrilled in his response to Stan. "Yo, what just happened? I heard Sebastian is on this account too," shouts Mackie. "Who gave him the password?" he questions. Stan comes back with a rebuttal, claiming that he has been around for "a longer time" and that he's right and Mackie is wrong.

The two actors (who are clearly best buds) then collaborate in a hilarious attempt to announce in unison the kick-off for production of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier right here in Atlanta. Keep your eyes peeled for the release in 2020 because it seems like the duo is going to make a pretty binge-worthy pair in this exciting new Marvel masterpiece.

For more celeb news in The Hollywood of The South (AKA ATL), Shia LeBeouf thanked the police officer for his 2017 arrest at the Hollywood Film Awards (his movie Honey Boy comes out this Friday and it's a must-see autobiographical film). Also, we are so down for Dwayne Wade as Atlanta's newest TV personality.
