Even if you've never been to Georgia before, you probably know Georgia as The Peach State. While it may not be the biggest producer of peaches in the country anymore, that doesn't mean that you still can't find the juciest and most delicious peaches right here in good ol' GA. If you're looking for things to do in Georgia that's super on brand for the state, this peachy event is right up your alley.

That's exactly why Atlanta is the perfect place to host a festival dedicated to the peach. PeachFest Atlanta is back for its fourth year, and it's going to be better than ever.

Some of the best chefs and restauranteurs are coming out to show off their skills with incredible dishes all centered around peaches.

You'll get to wander around the aptly named Peachtree Center while you taste samples of the dishes thesee chefs are whipping up. Of course, there will be plenty of peachy drinks to wash all that tasty food down with as well.

Tickets cost $75 for general admission, which will get you access to all the peachy food and drinks you could ever want.

However, if you want to take things to the next level, you can also opt for the VIP experience, which will get you into the festival an hour early, grant you access to a special VIP area, and even allow you to take a private tasting of cellared wines.

When you come out to this event, you'll be supporting smaller farmers across the state of Georgia as well.

Doesn't indulging in peachy food and booze feel even better when it's all for a good cause?

One thing is for sure: You're definitely going to want to be hungry when you show up so you can fully enjoy your three hours of snacking.

If you need to get your food festival fix in Atlanta before summertime, you're in luck. Check out this wing festival in March or a boozy oyster fest in Piedmont Park.
