Trae Young Has Twitter Basically In Tears With His $1M Donation To Atlantans' Medical Bills

We're not crying, you're crying!
Trae Young's Donation To Atlanta Has Twitter Shook In The Best Way

As with any new year comes lots of resolutions and we'd be lying if we said lots of goals don't revolve around saving money. Looks like 2020 is off to a good start for ATL because $1 million worth of medical bills just got wiped clean thanks to Atlanta Hawks basketball star, Trae Young's donation to Atlanta.

Trae Young not only leads the Atlanta Hawks in points this season, he's also leading in community efforts and making a huge impact. We're talking upwards of $1M huge.

The 21-year old athlete's organization, The Trae Young Foundation, recently donated lots of cash to help cover medical bills for Atlantans in need.

Young teamed up with RIP Medical Debt, an organization that purchases large amounts of medical debts for a lower cost via donations. As a result, the organization lends financial aid to those with significant financial issues.

The Trae Young Foundation's recent donation of $10,000 is chopping $1,059,186.39 off of medical bills for local patients. Young's generous gift is helping over 570 people in the Atlanta area cover their medical expenses.

Young's impact toward a pressing cause is giving people hope for the coming year and we can only imagine how grateful these folks must be for the belated Christmas present.

Even Twitter is taking over with gushy responses to Young's good deed.

This GIF of Will Smith clapping basically says it all.

The support is truly overwhelming. He's gaining fans for life.

"You are awesome player and human being I hope you stay in Atlanta for your whole career and if you don't you have made a fan for life," states one user.

Even a Philly fan wins his vote.

"Dude, this is awesome! As a Philly fan let me just say you got a new fan with me," says this new Twitter fan.

The support goes on forever so needless to say, Trae Young's act of kindness is not going unnoticed. We're all for stars using their fame for good (we see you Mike Thomas and Cam Newton). Keep it coming!
