You Can Disappear Into Harry Potter For Free Right Now & It’s All On Audio

Here's a little bit of magic to liven up your day! Audible's Harry Potter audiobook is now available for Canadians for free. It's the first in the series, so you can now listen to the Hogwarts hijinks at no cost with the online platform.

J.K. Rowling, the author of the widely popular books, launched Harry Potter At Home on April 1 which is a place for people to bring some magic into people's lives.

With the launch of this online hub also comes free access to the audiobook of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on Audible, even if you don't have an account to the audiobook site.

No, this is not an April Fool's Day joke!

This audiobook is available for the first time ever for Canadians through Audible in both English and French. The English language version is voiced by Stephen Fry.

He's the reader for the British version of all the books in the series.

"For over twenty years now, Hogwarts has been an escape for all – for readers and fans, young and old," the team behind the online hub wrote. "During the strange times we now find ourselves in, we want to welcome you back to Hogwarts, where you will find a friendly retreat for you, your family and those you are caring for."

So if you want to revisit Harry, Ron and Hermione’s first year at Hogwarts or learn about it for the first time, all you have to do is listen.

Since the audiobook is read by Fry, it’s a new experience for anyone who’s listened to the U.S. version before.

The team behind Harry Potter At Home claims that Fry “does an excellent Dumbledore” but you can be the judge of that yourself!

According to the online hub, you can listen to Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone as many times as you want in the coming weeks.

Also, it can be streamed on your desktop, laptop, phone or tablet.

If you’re looking for a little more magic, the online hub for the Wizarding World has a bunch of stuff available and it’s not just for kids.

There are some articles about different things related to the series like words you need to know while reading the books.

There are crosswords and word searches that are all Harry Potter related and even trivia quizzes that test your knowledge about the first book, quidditch and Hogwarts professors.

You can also discover which house you belong in if you don’t already know.

Mischief managed!
