A Wine Train Near Austin Is Welcoming Passengers This Month

This year has a lot of exciting events in store for us, and because of this, 2020 is already looking more promising than 2019 ever did. One especially exciting thing is the addition of a wine train near Austin, that takes you on a two-hour journey along the South San Gabriel River to one of the most gorgeous wineries in the state. All aboard!

The Austin Steam Train is welcoming passengers aboard this month for a trip across the Texas Hill Country to Wedding Oak Winery in Burnet, Texas.

On Sunday, January 19 the train will depart at 10 a.m. from the winery's Cedar Park Depot and will return to the same location at 4 p.m. after a long day of tasting.

The ride itself will be two hours, and passengers will enjoy gorgeous views of the South San Gabriel River while sipping wine and talking with the Wedding Oak family.

Tickets are on sale now, and we highly recommend getting yours today!

The tickets are $69 per person and include the ride to and from the winery, plus a tasting flight of five wines paired with light snacks.

Once you arrive at Wedding Oak Winery, you'll spend two hours there and have access to their stunning tasting room.

Plus, you will get to enjoy insane views from their two-story patio and rooftop terrace.

Food and drink will be available for purchase while at the winery, which is great considering you'll probably want to take a little something home.

Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided on the train ride back, but the overall experience is still 21+ regardless.

For a similar good time touring other wineries across the Hill Country, you can hop on a wine shuttle near Austin for only $30!

Scratch whatever plans you had on the 19th because you don't want to miss out.

Whether you want to enjoy a day with your BFF or your boo, this is the perfect trip for either.
