Austin Is Having A 2-Day Hot Wings Festival This August With All Things Spicy
If you're from Texas, like Beyonce, you carry hot sauce in your bag at all times. This summer, Austin is having a festival dedicated to spicy sauces and hot foods so you won't have to bring your own! The Austin Food Truck Fest is bringing you their Hot Wings and Hot Things Fest that will take place on August 10th and 11th. The fest will feature all of the spice your heart desires and there will even be a competition to see who has the best hot wings in town.
The event will be split into two spicy days. The first day will focus on hot wings with vendors bringing out their best creations. Visitors of the event will be able to sample the wings and vote for their favorites.
The second day of the event will feature hot "things" which can be anything spicy but hot wings! Visitors will also be able to sample and vote for their favorites on this day as well. Some of the vendors you'll be able to see include Gossip Shack, Kain Na Filipino, Rolling Rooster, and many more are on the way.
The food will be from both food trucks and food tents so you will have plenty of options to choose from. Aside from all the delicious food, there will be live music, a bounce house and a petting zoo for all to enjoy.
Tickets for the event range from $8 to $30 depending on the ticket package you want to get. On the 10th, the event will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on the 11th, it will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The ATX Food Truck Fest also tried out their very first Food Truck Court earlier this summer at the Austin Domain. The Food Truck Court had over 5 different famous food trucks set up in the shopping center for everyone to enjoy. The food venture was wonderfully received and had plenty of locals loving the food and atmosphere!
