Milton Reimers Ranch Park Is A Nature Paradise In Austin

October may be here, but that doesn't mean the weather fully understands that yet. Luckily for Texas, it's certainly cooler than what it was from June to September, which means now is as good of a time as any to get outside and explore the outdoors. Milton Reimers Ranch Park is the perfect place to do just that, with over 13 miles to hike in Austin, plus gorgeous swimming holes, you can't turn down a day out here.

The park is open year-round and completely free to visit. It's near lots of other popular places in Austin, such as Barton Creek Greenbelt and Barton Springs. While those locations you may have heard of before, this park you may not have, but it is just as beautiful. Celebrities have even been spotted there such as Ty Haney, and she's basically the queen of the outdoors.

Dogs are more than welcome to trek along with you, as long as they stay on their leash, of course. We all know how important it is for your furry friend to receive as much Vitamin D as you do, and there are only so many places in Austin that they can.

Hiking at the park is rated moderate, so if you're a beginner at hiking and looking for a bit of a challenge then this could be the best spot for you. Grab your best shoes, you're going to need them.

Texas hikes are some of the best out there, and this location is a must if you're looking to add more to your bucket list. Cold weather is anticipated in another month or two, which means it's gonna be just-right here in the next few weeks.
