We can probably all agree that ever since Cars made its debut, the dream of one day zooming down a snazzy racetrack has been at the back of our heads. Now, Circuit of The Americas in Austin is giving you the chance to do just that and for one day only! This month, you can see if you have what it takes to take on someone like Sebastian Vettel or Jeff Gordon while contributing to a good cause.
Circuit of The Americas in Austin is hosting a Food Drive, quite literally. On Sunday, May 10 from 12 to 5 p.m., you're invited out to the racetrack to drive your own wheels for a good cause.
COTA is raising money for the Central Texas Food Bank, and every single donation can make a difference!
In fact, just $1 can produce up to four meals for someone in need.
You and your friends and fellow Austinites are getting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to race down the world-famous 3.4-mile track and change lives while you're at it!
This great event cannot be missed out on.
Not only will you get to take on the 3.4-mile track, but you'll also ascend the iconic “Turn 1” hill, weave through the challenging “esses” at Turns 3 and 4, and more.
Famous Formula 1 racers have done it all, and now you get the chance to as well.
You can view a map of the very track you'll be driving down here.
Right now, $47,621.88 has been raised out of their $100,000 goal. You can donate here to get them even closer to reaching that mark, or wait until Sunday!
Strap on your driving gloves and channel your inner Hamilton for a fun time helping the community.
