You Can Try To Outrun Zombies At This Haunted House In Austin Next Month

With October just around the corner, the hunt for the best haunted houses in Texas is real. For those of you who live in Austin, look no further! Austin's most haunted house is back next month to terrify each and every person who has the guts to go through it. Whether you've been once or twice before, House of Torment does just that and shows absolutely no mercy.

On Friday, Sept. 13 House of Torment is finally open to those who dare from 7 to 10 p.m. From then on, the haunted house will be open on weekends and then all month long in October. There's no better day than Friday the 13th for something as spooky as this to be kicking off. Plus, they'll have a brand new "Rise of the Dead" attraction this year where you'll have to outrun zombies to survive! Will you?

Just because you're standing in line does not mean you've escaped the horror. From the moment you arrive till you exit the attraction, you'll be screaming from fear. From having fun, of course! There will be plenty of people in costumes standing around to scare you while you're waiting in line and a haunted house isn't doing their best unless they have just that. Ask any Texan and they'll agree!

Tickets for general admission are just $19.99 per person—scary cheap! For a fast pass, it's $10 extra and $20 extra to skip the line. There's even an on-site bar available to 21+. I don't know about you, but I might need one after something like this.

If you love haunted houses or spooky events but are closer to San Antonio, you're in luck. There'll be a 'Haunted River Fest' in October and a super famous haunted house opening the same night as House of Torment! You won't be bored a single day this fall.
