A New Wild Bar Just Opened In Austin & They Serve The Biggest Unique Drinks

"I'd like the one that steams, please."
An Austin Cocktail Bar Opened Yesterday And Has The Wildest Drinks

Rainey Street was already an iconic spot to go out to with friends to but this week it got even better. A Dallas-based cocktail bar that specializes in mixing science with liquor to make wild drinks opened in Austin yesterday, and it's smokin'. Literally guys and gals, your drinks will smoke.

The Tipsy Alchemist opened its first location outside of Dallas yesterday, Thursday, January 23, on Rainey Street in Austin.

You can find The Tipsy Alchemist on the second floor of the 70 Rainey condominium complex, and it's gorgeous.

The cocktail bar comes with a menu similar to its Dallas location as well as a casual patio setting and an outdoor stage overlooking Rainey Street District.

Not convinced you need to check it out yet? Just wait.

The Tipsy Alchemist has one of the wildest menus Rainey Street has ever seen, starting with The Eddison.

The Eddison is made with rum that is blended with nitrogen-frozen mint and lime and served in a light bulb on ice.

A literal light bulb!

Their Smoking Barrel Old Fashioned and The Mad Hatter are also some notable mentions, the ladder of which is served through a pneumatic tube transport system.

If you have no clue what that is, you're not alone. It's basically like the tubes you deposit checks through at the bank.

The Tipsy Alchemist will be open Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., Fridays from 3 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturdays from 12 p.m to 2 a.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 12 a.m.

You'll have plenty of time during your week to come by and check out one of Austin's wildest bars.

Thanks for sharing the love, Dallas! We are grateful.
