A The Nightmare Before Christmas Fest In Austin Is Next Month

It's rare to find a movie that's fitting for all of your favorite holidays. Thankfully Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas exists and is on our TV screens from October through December. Next month, Texas is bringing the movie to life with a The Nightmare Before Christmas 'fest' in Austin that's going to have everything you need to get you in the Christmas spirit.

On Friday, December 20 you and your friends are invited to Elysium Austin for a night of sing-a-longs, themed drinks, shopping, costumes, and more. The Nightmare Before Christmas Gothic Ball And Bazaar will go from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. and is 18+ only, so definitely leave the kids at home. Halloween may be over, but it turns out Christmas is just as good of an excuse to dress up for a fun night out.

Fog's Breath, Deadly Nightshade, Worm's Wort, and Sandy Claws are some of the cleverly-named drinks only available at this awesome ball and bazaar. You'll be able to enjoy live entertainment or even be part of it with the awesome sing-a-longs and the ability to dress up as any of The Nightmare Before Christmas characters you want. Tickets for the event go on sale one week from today on Monday, November 11 and are just $10-13.

If you love The Nightmare Before Christmas, or anything Tim Burton-related for that matter, keep your eyes out for more events like these in the future. The Lone Star State is constantly surprising us with their appreciation for iconic movies, yet another reason to love Texas. And remember, don't put those Halloween costumes away just yet, you'll need them for December!
