Austin Is Getting A Brand New 'Cidercade' With Booze & Gaming Galore

It's the perfect combination.
Bishop Cidercade Is Opening In Austin As Soon As Possible

While it takes a certain skill level to master certain types of video games, it doesn't take a pro to tackle and love a classic arcade game. Throw some booze in the mix and you've got an adult's paradise and luckily, this type of setting is coming to Austin very soon. Bishop Cidercade is opening in Austin very soon, and you'll want to be one of the first to get in on the fun when it finally does.

Bishop Cidercade is opening in Austin soon and will be located right off of Lady Bird Lake on Riverside Drive.

The stunning location isn't even the best part, as you'll have access to over 150 arcade games, 48 taps of hard cider, food, and more.

All ages are welcome at Bishop Cidercade during the day, but starting at 8 p.m. it becomes 21+ only.

Once it turns dark, its time for the adults to unleash their inner kid with a tasty cider or a glass of wine in one hand.

Just, don't let it impede your gaming skills, of course!

The arcade totals at 13,000 square feet, and while the majority oh what takes up space is games, there's a lot more to the joint than that.

Food and drink will also be served and if the Austin menu is anything like Dallas', you won't be disappointed with their options.

Arcades, which is what Bishop Cidercade is considered, haven't quite made the list of businesses able to reopen under Texas Governor Greg Abbott's orders.

According to Eater Austin, that's the only hold up remaining on the businesses' ability to open their doors to the public.

Once the restrictions are lifted, so will our hands to pick up some gaming consoles. And booze, of course.
