'Texas Ranger' Chuck Norris Will Read You A Book On Livestream Today

The world has been seeing many changes in the past few months. The Lone Star State has been evolving constantly to protect its citizens' wellbeing and promote a strong sense of community. One new way the First Lady of Texas is doing her part is with a public live stream of her and fan-favorite Chuck Norris reading children's stories. This collide of two worlds is sure to be entertaining for anyone tuning in.

Governor Greg Abbott announced that his wife, Cecilia Abbott, will come together with Chuck Norris for what is named the Stars of Texas Storytime.

You can tune into the Facebook Livestream at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020, to see Norris will read aloud “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” by Eric Carle.

These interactive "Stars of Texas Storytimes" have been occurring twice a week since back in April, all featuring the first lady, and other special guests.

Though the big shot martial artist may seem random as a guest, he has previously spoken at an event for the Abbotts.

Governor Abbott took to Twitter last night to encourage locals to tune into the live stream today, though the way he worded his tweet gave heavy Walker, Texas Ranger vibes.

"Listen to Chuck Norris...or else..." the governor tweeted with a link to more information on the storytime live stream going on today.

Whether you want to entertain your kids with a fun storybook reading of the classic tale of the hungry caterpillar, or you just want to hear the butt-kicking actor read a colorful children's book for your own entertainment, you know where to go.

The live stream will be hosted on Abbott's Facebook page, and the video will begin at 10 a.m. Central Time.

Grab your morning coffee or pop some popcorn for an interesting, yet peaceful book reading by "the man, the myth, the legend", Chuck Norris.

You'll have to wait and see who the next guest will be for the future Stars of Texas Storytimes.
