This Delicious Austin Paradise Serves The Best Mexican Street Treats In The City
We've all had that overwhelming craving for some deliciously prepared elote at least once in our lives. If you live in Texas, it's probably happened more than once considering we have some of the best (Tex) Mexican street food in the country. Located in the heart of Austin is Hay Elotes, and it is a gem that you have to make a point to visit while you're in town. And if you have to go out of your way, well, there's absolutely no shame in that!
Hay Elotes is open every single day of the week. Whether you're more busy on weekdays than weekends, or vice versa, Hay Elotes works with everyone's schedule to make sure you have the chance to try one of their mouthwatering treats. This is one of those cases where we can say we're feeling pretty blessed.
Hay Elotes is open from 12 to 9 PM everyday except for Sunday, when their hours are 2 to 9 PM. They opened back in 2013 and have been thriving in Austin ever since. Texans love their elotes! They have everything from smoothies, ice cream and frozen yogurt. All topped with fruits and other sweets that'll make you wish you had ordered extra.
They have a free Wi-Fi hotspot and plenty of seating so you can make the most out of your visit. The colors of the building are so vibrant your Insta feed will be lighting up! A trip to Austin may not always be convenient, but it's well worth it when something like this is awaiting you!
