One of the biggest things Texans can boast over is having the famous Matthew McConaughey living in their state. It is no secret that the big-time actor loves Austin, Texas, and all the surrounding cities in the Lone Star State, and he is doing all he can to protect its citizens during this pandemic. Just this week, Matthew and Camila McConaughey delivered masks that were donated by Lincoln to rural hospitals across Texas.
In the evening last night, Thursday, May 21, 2020, Matthew revealed that he and his wife would be driving across Texas to deliver 110,000 donated masks to hospitals in need of them.
Texas is no small state, with small towns and cities spread all across the 268,597 square-mile area that is filled with 29 million people.
Many rural hospitals are in urgent need of medical supplies, leading Lincoln Motor Company to donate over 100k masks to be distributed to them.
And what better way to deliver medical supplies than by sending an Academy Award-winning actor and famous model and designer?

The A-lister took to social media to shout out the big donation and to share with the world the efforts he and Camila and doing to help rural hospitals across their home state.

Lincoln replied to his post saying "Happy to help. Thanks to you and Camila, Matthew!"

This isn't the first time the two Austin locals have been spotted donating masks to local establishments in need. Back in April, Matthew and Camila McConaughey donated 80,000 masks to first responders in both Austin and New Orleans.
The famous duo continuously takes to social media to share their opinions on staying home, staying safe, and keeping yourself and others safe during the pandemic.
The McConaughey's also work with their foundation, the Just Keep Livin Foundation, to help locals and non-locals during this hard time.
They currently have a line of reusable face masks called "bandito bandanas" that they are selling on the JKL website that will benefit the foundation's students and their families in need.
