San Marcos Is Having Its First-Ever Lotería Fest This Spring

They'll have a piñata, petting zoo, and more!
San Marcos' First Ever Lotería Fest Is This Summer

Lotería is one of the more enjoyable games out there, especially if a prize is at stake. This summer, San Marcos' first-ever Lotería Fest is taking place and inviting all people to participate. It'll be a day of celebrating Mexican culture and having a blast with those that grew up with or are new to playing the game.

On Saturday, May 2, Lotería Fest is being held at La Sociedad Cuauhtemoc in Cuauhtemoc Hall from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Once you arrive, you'll be greeted with tons of fun activities.

Lotería Fest will have multiple rounds of the game, with prizes for each and every winner.

Come dressed as your favorite card, because they'll be having a costume contest throughout the day as well. The more people that are dressed up, the better. And the more photo-worthy!

A piñata, photo booth, and petting zoo will also be there for festgoers to enjoy.

And don't worry about getting hungry, food booths will be present to supply everyone with delicious meals.

*The event can host hundreds of people and you can join in on the fun! You can reserve your entry through their official Facebook event page here.

*Prices for tickets will be released soon at around $4-5 each. You can keep updated on the festival for more ticket info coming soon. An affordable festival is the best kind of festival!

A La Mano Artist Market will also be there for all of your shopping needs.

This is clearly going to be a very eventful day that you won't want to miss out on, so reserve your place as soon as possible!

San Marcos is a short drive from Austin and San Antonio, so it's the perfect spot to host an event that attracts people from either city.

We can't wait for San Marcos' first-ever Lotería Fest to finally be here. Hopefully, there are many more to come!
