The train hotel is not only historically beautiful, it is also an experience that you can get nowhere else.
The cabooses are a homage to their founding, as people would travel on trains to their original hotel all the time. Being completely remodeled, the rooms have a queen bed and two twin beds. Although the inside has been redone, they have kept as much of the original structure as possible to keep the experience as authentic as they can.

All of their train spaces are equipt with a kitchen, common area and cupola where you can sit and read a book or look out into the lake. They also have an outdoor space where you can have a picnic or grill. You won't take another train "ride" like this anywhere else!

If you happen to have a larger party, you can trade in the caboose for a train car that sleeps four people. The wooden cart is from the 1880s comes with a queen bed, two large leather couches, a kitchen and 1 1/2 baths.
You are more than welcome to take a dip in their lake or if you're up for it, you can go fishing or kayaking. The hotel also has its own restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Staying at the trains in the historic hotel starts at $130 per night but you can also book a room in one of their many cabins for as low as $90. The hotel has wifi and cable so you don't have to worry about missing an episode of your favorite show while you chill in a gorgeous, historic train car or caboose. You can also take a stroll in one of their beautiful gardens.
