This Austin Drive Got A New Haunted Forest Screen

Drive-in theatres are a must during the fall season. It's the perfect opportunity to cuddle with that special someone, the weather is just right, and you can eat whatever you want. The only thing that could make nights like these better would be a horror movie marathon. Luckily, one of Austin's favorite drive-ins is putting on exactly that starting next weekend! If you're brave enough, you can join others at a haunted forest screen where only the greatest horror movies will be shown.

The Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In is welcoming anyone who dares to their new haunted screenings, on select days, from Saturday, September 28 until Thursday, October 31. The list of horror movies that you can expect to see is enough to send chills down your spine. Plan on bringing someone that doesn't mind you clinging on to them, you're going to need the extra protection.

The Shining, The Ring, Hocus Pocus, and Beetlejuice are just some of the most iconic movies on their list. While some are notably horrifying, others will make you laugh and leave you feeling nostalgic rather than terrified. Whatever you're in the mood for, the drive-in will be providing just that.

The first night is kicking off with a Harry Potter screening, to get everyone warmed up for what's to come. Ticket prices range from $12 to $40 depending on the package and any add-ons you'd like. We highly recommend checking out their website for more information on what each offers!

In addition to the new screen, the drive-in is also allowing you to walk their haunted drive-in forest path! As if sitting in a haunted forest watching The Ring wasn't scary enough, they've added some more possible spooks to your night.

There'll be 19 occurrences of this very special event throughout the month. That's plenty of chances to take advantage of one of the coolest things Austin has put on, ever. If you love drive-ins but aren't in the Austin area, Dallas has a pretty special one as well. For those who are able to make it, we can't wait to see you there.
