Austin is a city with loads of history, and for this reason, it almost always winds up being the host of the most interesting events. This spring, the city is shaking things up a bit by having a witch-themed festival in Austin, and witches and warlocks from all over are welcome to join in on the fun. Get your brooms ready, because things are about to really take off!
Austin Witchfest will be held on Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The fest will take place at none other than Jourdan-Bachman Pioneer Farms, an eerily fitting location.
While you may be picturing something straight out of the movie The Witch, it's actually much more beautiful than you'd expect.
But, you'll just have to come and check it out for yourself!
Witchfest is entirely outdoors, so be sure to dress appropriately seeing as the temperature should be going down right around the time of the fest.
And don't leave your cloak behind!
Workshops, rituals, vendors and more will all be at the festival for attendees to enjoy. More information as to who and what they'll each bring should be released soon.
They're still sorting everything out, and working hard to make sure it's something we can all enjoy!
Ticket prices also have yet to be announced, but be sure to keep an eye on their official Facebook event page for more info.
For those of you just dying to get your hands on something spooky, Austin has a few special events coming up with plenty of spook.
We'll see you at the festival in March, witches and warlocks!
