There are so many exciting things coming to The Happiest Place on Earth next year. From classic ride updates to new attractions, guests will have so much to explore. Yesterday, Disney Parks announced one of its biggest pieces of news. Avengers Campus Disneyland will open during summer 2020.

According to WDW News Today, the summer season will launch Phase One of the Marvel-themed land, which will open July 18.*

Visitors at the park will get to experience an all-new ride, restaurant, and a meet and greet with some of their favorite superhero characters at Disney California Adventure.

While the first Avengers ride to open has yet to be named, it will feature everyone's favorite web-slinger, the friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Guests will follow him on his journey to capture rogue Spiderbots in the ultimate hero training exercise.

You’ll use hand gestures to shoot virtual webs from your wrists and swing from death-defying (virtual) heights.

You and other park visitors will be 'recruited' by the Avengers team to assist them in the Worldwide Engineering Brigade.

The new restaurant is titled Pym Test Kitchen and will feature fictional technology to grow and shrink food (think Ant Man-sized proportions).

Fans can meet and greet the Black Widow, Ant-Man, and the Wasp, Doctor Strange, heroes from Wakanda, Asgardians, and Iron Man.

Theme Park Insider reports that park officials have also mentioned a Doctor Strange-themed mystic arts training show could come to the land.

Phase Two was confirmed during this year's D23 Expo and is still a few years away.

It will bring additional attractions, including a themed Quinjet ride to the Black Panther's mysterious world of Wakanda, for an intense battle scene.

Avengers Campus lands are also opening in additional locations, including Hong Kong Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios Paris.
