Summer is officially gone.
A Month's Worth Of Rain Is Going To Hit BC This Week And We Are Not Ready For It

Get ready for a wet and wild ride. A serious amount of rain is headed to B.C. And when we say serious, we mean it. According to the Weather Network, a month's worth of rain will hit B.C. this week. If you don’t have a rain jacket, now might be the time to invest. I guess we can be happy that it’s not snow.

B.C. has had some bizarre weather this summer. We have literally seen everything from snowfall on the highways to dime-sized hail and tornados.

It seems as though the weird weather is carrying over into the fall as the Weather Network is calling for rain, and a lot of it. Mother Nature just doesn’t know when to stop.

According to the Weather Network, the province will receive four weeks worth of rain in just five days starting this week. This means that more than 100 mm of rain will fall in parts of the province by Sunday.

We honestly wish this wasn’t real but it looks like it's heading our way whether we like it or not. At least now we can begin to prepare ourself for the inevitable. Here’s what you can expect to see for the remainder of the week.

According to the Weather Network, four weeks worth of rain will be falling in just five days. For parts of the province, the rain will begin on Thursday.

Some areas of B.C. are expected to see this insane amount of rain before the weekend even ends!

Experts at the Weather Network are saying that a pair of low-pressure systems along the province's coast will be bringing rain over Vancouver Island, much of the coast, and parts of the Lower Mainland.

Although the weather is subject to change, the Weather Network has stated that the washout will take place Thursday to Saturday. By the time Sunday rolls around, some areas will be hit with four weeks worth of rain.

In addition to the rain, winds are anticipated with some of the strongest rolling in on Saturday.

Once the rain is all said and done, the Weather Network is calling for a warm and drier weather pattern for next week.

Although the rain is anticipated, Environment Canada has not released any rain or thunderstorm watches or warnings as of yet.

According to the Environment Canada website, rain is in the forecast for Vancouver every day until Wednesday of next week.

Maybe this wet weather is the perfect excuse to say inside and binge a new T.V. series.
