There's a place in BC that's basically heaven on earth for cider-lovers! The Merridale Cidery & Distillery has two yurts you can rent and it is the ultimate boozy romantic getaway. This glamping experience is one-of-a-kind and if you've always wanted to spend a night in a yurt then this is your chance!

You can spend your afternoons sipping ciders in their tasting room, exploring the orchard and relaxing in your bright and airy yurt. This is a really cozy getaway for spring. You're guaranteed to have an amazing night's sleep because the fresh air, dark skies and quiet make the perfect combo for deep slumber.

Since each yurt fits just two people, this makes an ideal getaway for couples! There are two yurts on their property: the Yarlington Yurt and the Tremlett Yurt. The Yarlington is definitely the more glam of the two with a canopy bed and claw-foot soaker tub.

Both yurts have their own bathroom, patio and fireplace. There aren't any facilities to cook inside the yurts, but you can eat a farmhouse breakfast in their eatery, which is also open for lunch. It's about 40 minutes from the cidery to Victoria but it's not far from the ocean and to Shawnigan Lake so there is a lot to check out if you feel like adventuring!

You can rent the Merridale Yurts for about $200 per night. They're located at the Merridale Cidery & Distillery in Cobble Hill on Vancouver Island. It's about 3.5 hours away from Vancouver. Yurts are available to rent from April to November but you can check for availability on their website.
