29 Canadian Tattoo Artists You Need To Check Out Right Now

Get inked by the country's best!

When I first thought about getting my tattoo three years ago, I was not at all aware of the major tattoo art scene that was erupting around me. Like the average Hamiltonian, I got my tattoo done at Sinkin’ Ink, the small Upper James studio that’s known for its mix of good and bad reviews.

While I still love my tattoo three years later, I probably would have changed my design and my artist if I had known about any of the tattoo artists listed below. I mean seriously, mine is as basic as they come (blame 19-year-old me), especially when compared to the Canadian talent currently working as tattoo artists across the country. There’s people etching large-scale family portraits, and even something as simple as a flower tattoo has countless new twists. So if you want to get a tattoo by Canada’s best, then look no further; because listed below are 28 of the country’s tattoo artists you need to know.
