Beauty Tutorial: How To Do A Natural Everyday Makeup Look Like Victoria’s Secret Angel Romee Strijd
A.k.a. how to look like a goddess.
Behind all the flashing lights, extravagant lingerie, and stunning makeup is a naturally beautiful Victoria's Secret model. While it's no secret that Romee Strijd is an absolute bombshell on the runway, she knows exactly how to enhance her natural features with just a touch of makeup for her everyday look.
With a gorgeous glowing complexion that radiates from beneath the skin and a simple but beautiful makeup look that would make anyone fall in love, we'd be kidding ourselves if we said we didn't want to look like the angels.
So thanks to Romee Strijd and her Youtube channel, she's revealed to us all her beauty secrets and just exactly what she does on a daily basis to achieve her beautiful "girl next door" everyday makeup look. So if you want to look like Romee (of course you do), then keep on reading.
Here is the step-by-step guide to how she does her makeup using all her beauty faves:
Romee is an advocate for natural beauty and keeping it simple. She doesn't like to wear a ton of makeup, so to keep her skin looking youthful and radiant she always makes sure to moisturize with Emryolisse's Crème Riche Hydratante.
Then normally she'll just slap on some Rosebud Salve and call it a day, but we're not going to leave you high and dry. On days where she's feeling a little fancier, she'll mix a little bit of Tarte's Maracuja Oil ($60) with a little bit of Tom Ford's Traceless Foundation Stick ($102) on a flat top brush and apply to her skin. Since she doesn't like a full coverage look, the Maracuja Oil helps thin out the foundation to give a more light and dewy natural finish.
Romee loves a good brow. For her eyebrows, she uses K-Palette's 1 Day Tattoo 2 Way Lasting Eyebrow Liquid and Powder. She just uses a little bit at the front of the brow to fill in any spaces, then she'll apply Benefit's 3D BROWtones Instant Color Highlights ($32) to finish off the tail of the brow.
For the eyeshadow, Romee uses Dior's 3 Couleurs Eye Palette in Smoky Nude 571. She simply applies the darker taupe brown shade in the outer crease and the lighter shimmery shade on the lid. Unfortunately for us, the 3 Couleurs Dior eyeshadow palette is no longer sold at many big beauty stores but here's another Dior palette quite similar to it.
Now, how is a girl supposed to get that VS Angel glow without a little bit of bronzing and highlighting? Romee uses Charlotte Tilbury's Filmstar Bronze & Glow ($68) to define those cheekbones and make them pop. While the product is a little on the boujee end of the spectrum, it's totally worth it.
Last but not last, if Romee is really feeling like it she'll add a little bit of colour to her lips. Another Charlotte Tilbury product she's a fan of is her Lip Cheat Lip Pencil in Iconic Nude ($27). Sometimes she'll add a little bit of this lipliner all over her lips and top it with her Rosebud Salve.
And when all is said and done, you will look like...
Okay, of course you won't literally look like Romee Strijd, but you will get that same natural VS goddess glow. And the best part about this makeup look, is that you can literally do it all in under 10 minutes (if not five). Unleash that inner angel and let your natural beauty shine.
