Before we begin, we just want to say that we're using the term "dupe" very loosely here. We don't just mean colours that are similar, we're talking about damn near "knock off" makeup where the packaging and product are almost identical.
Everyone has a different opinion about makeup dupes/"knock off" makeup. While some may feel that it's unfair to established makeup companies who spend months and years developing the perfect formula and packaging only to have the idea stolen by another company is absolute BS, others are happy to purchase makeup on the cheaper end because well... we're all just trying to hustle out here.
Whichever way you feel about makeup dupes, there's no denying that there are some products out there that are freakishly similar and freakishly good quality, and this online shop carries a lot of them.
Hush is an online retailer that carries affordable makeup brands that we all know and love, like E.L.F., LA Girl, Milani, and others. But they also carry some lesser known brands that produce some suspiciously familiar products that you would assume should be branded under another name.
Hush carries makeup brands like Bad Habit, Okalan, and Beauty Creations that create products that are almost identical to high-end brands like Urban Decay, Anastasia Beverly Hills, and others.
While some of their products definitely pale in comparison to the high-end brands, there are some products (especially from Bad Habit) that are actually AMAZING.
Here are some of their best products:
Sephora: Anastasia Beverly Hills Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit ($52)
Hush: Bad Habit Rosé Highlight Palette ($10)
Don't even try to tell me these don't look IDENTICAL to you. Tbh, Bad Habit's Rosé Highlight Palette is pigmented AF and will make you glow like champagne bubbles in the sun, and it's only $10!
Sephora: HUDA Beauty Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette ($85)
Hush: Bad Habit Athena Eyeshadow Palette ($12)
The shade range and the packaging of the Athena palette are so similar to the Desert Dusk palette, it's shocking. The eyeshadows are super pigmented and are definitely worth it for the price point. Admittedly they might not be as creamy as the HUDA Beauty palette, but it's also like $70 less.
Sephora: HUDA Beauty 3D Highlighter Palette ($59)
Hush: Bad Habit Oasis & Paradise Highlight Palette ($10)
HUDA's 3D Highlighter Palettes are known for being creamy and pigmented AF. I don't know how they did it, but the Bad Habit highlight palettes are literally just as creamy and just as pigmented. The Oasis and Paradise highlighter may come in a round pan (and that's probably how they got away with it), but the product itself is damn near identical.
Some of these Hush App makeup products are so good that even notable beauty Youtubers like Laura Lee and Manny MUA are shook!
Whatever way you feel about these dupes, there's no denying that they are super affordable and are just saving everyone so much money.
