It can really ruin your day when you realize that winter isn't even here yet and Alberta is already covered in snow, but then you remember that with every passing day, we're one day closer to warm summer sunshine and blasting country music. If you're one of the many Albertans who loves the warmer seasons because of the endless country music festivals, we've got some good news for you. Big Valley Jamboree's 2020 lineup includes Eric Church, Dallas Smith, and more.

If you're familiar with Alberta, you probably know that there are several big events every year that the country community loves to partake in. First up, is the Calgary Stampede (which Blake Shelton is headlining this year, might I add), and secondly, is Big Valley Jamboree.

If you've never heard of BVJ, it's essentially Alberta's Coachella of country music. The outdoor festival welcomes some of the genres biggest artists every year, and patrons spend their time on the grounds playing drinking games, crushing beers, and of course, singing along to their favourite artists.

Earlier today, November 8, BVJ put out a major announcement that's sure to keep you warm and toasty on this winter day - 2020's BVJ lineup is the biggest one the festival has seen to date.

The festival will take place from July 30 - August 2 in Camrose, Alberta with major headliners such as Eric Church, Dallas Smith, Dierks Bently, and Dustin Lynch.

Tickets for the festival are currently on sale and start at $195 for a 3-day admission pass, or you can purchase individual day passes for $110/day.

Other notable performers this year include The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Terri Clark, and Dean Brody, but that doesn't even begin to cover everyone.

The festival may be months away, but with a lineup this good, you'll want to get your tickets fast! You can purchase passes and scout out the best camping location at this link.
