There’s a new mystery on the way! In the recently released Blood & Water trailer, Netflix teased what viewers can expect from the new show. The series hits the streaming service soon, and you won’t believe what you’re in store for.

Blood & Water takes place in Cape Town, South Africa, where Puleng Khulamo just started school at the prestigious Parkhurst College. What Puleng’s classmates don’t know is that she transferred schools in hopes of tracking down her long-lost sister, who was abducted at birth 17 years ago.

After meeting at a party, Puleng is convinced that the school’s swimming star, Fikele Bhele, is the girl she’s been looking for. She then becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth, eager to find out if her theory is correct.

“I’ve been living with a ghost my entire life,” Puleng can be heard saying in the trailer.

Because of its upper-class school setting, the series has been compared to the likes of Gossip Girl and Elite, but those who enjoyed the hit Netflix original You will get a kick out of seeing Puleng adamantly stalk Fikele as she uncovers the mystery as well.

Qamata teased a clip from the show on her Instagram recently, captioning it, “Welcome to the jungle... It’s about to get hectic.

The month of May is flying by, but viewers have plenty of new releases to look forward to including Sweet Magnolias, Control Z, The Lovebirds, Space Force, and season two of the hit reality TV series Selling Sunset.
